2010 Turning Point Father-Son Camp  July 30^th – Aug. 1^st

Our annual Father Son Camp is one of the most special events that we share in the Turning Point.  It is a tremendous time to build memories and share a great experience with your son.  Check out our pictures from one of the previous camps here. 

This year, we will once again enjoy the scenic surroundings of Forest Home’s Ojai Valley Camp. It sits between the mountains and the ocean in Ventura County, featuring 132 acres of wilderness, meandering trails, quiet places, and majestic views.

Some of the fun activities:

Zipline (wheee!)

40 foot climbing wall

Mountain boards

Mountain bikes for jr. and sr. high sons/fathers

Large swimming pool

“Rec deck” (bumper pool, foosball, air hockey, ping pong)

Shaded courts for “beach” volleyball and basketball   Field for soccer or football

Frisbee golf course   Skateboarding: On-site skate park available for those who bring their own boards and safety gear.

Accommodations: You have a choice of sleeping in tent cabins (wooden floor & sides and canvas top on raised wooden platforms with electricity and the bath house within a short walking distance) or more deluxe cabins (4 room cabins) with A/C and private bathrooms.  Five great meals will be served to us.  Bring your own sleeping bag, pillow or sheets/blankets.  Remember both warm/cool clothing. 

Early registration fees: Tent cabins $130/dad & $105/son.  Deluxe cabins $165/dad & $140/son.    Early registration ends July 21st!    After that, it will be:  Tent cabins $140/dad & $115/son.  Deluxe cabins $175/dad & $150/son.
